The VCX Series Encoders and Decoders are highly capable, field proven product which has become standard for encoding and decoding in challenging environments. The units support either MPEG2, MPEG4, and/or H.264 over a full range of resolutions as well as JPEG frame capture. There are numerous methods to conducting local and remote diagnostics including visual display, web interface, SNMP, Telnet and the control port. All devices allow for easy transport and sharing of IP video with local, state & Federal agencies, simultaneously transmitting both high resolution & internet quality video.

The model VCX-7401 is the stand-alone H.264/MPEG-4/MPEG-2/JPEG version of the VCX family and is housed in a 8.5-inch 1U rack mount case. The VCX-4406-E is a stand-alone six channel MPEG-4 video encoder. Video from up to six sources may be connected to the encoder while all six channels are connected to the network through a single Ethernet port.
