The model VCX-6400-E is the stand-alone MPEG-2/4/JPEG Encoder version of the VCX family and is housed in a 1U 8.5-inch rack mount case (VCX-6400-E-H). The model VCX-6400–E-R is a rack mounted card only used in the 4U 19-inch rack unit (R-12 Chassis).
