The model VCX-6400-D is the stand-alone MPEG-2/4 Decoder version of the VCX family. The unit is enclosed with a display, control keys and a universal AC power supply. The configuration of the VCX-6400-D is akin to desktop like devices. The model VCX-6400–D-R is a rack mounted card only used in the 4U 19-inch rack unit.
